Compound Amino Acid (also known as Industrial Hydrolyzed Protein or Industrial Gelatin Hydrolysate) is a white to pale yellow powder produced from leather waste through alkaline pretreatment, enzymatic hydrolysis (peptide bond cleavage under alkaline conditions), filtration, concentration, and drying. Its core components are collagen-derived degradation products (polypeptides and amino acids) with ≥90% protein content.
